Anti-Ragging Policy
In compliance with the University Grants Commission’s strict prohibition on ragging in higher education institutions, NDRK First Grade College unequivocally bans all forms of ragging on its campus. All students are required to abstain from any activities that could be construed as ragging.
Forms of Ragging Include:
- Noisy and disorderly conduct, teasing, and rough or rude treatment.
- Activities that distress, frighten, or put students at risk of harm either physically or psychologically.
- Forcing students to perform acts that cause shame, embarrassment, or endanger their safety.
Consequences of Ragging: Engagement in or abetment of ragging at NDRK First Grade College is met with severe disciplinary actions, including but not limited to:
- Cancellation of Admission: Immediate cancellation of enrollment.
- Suspension: Temporary prohibition from attending lectures and practical sessions.
- Withdrawal of Benefits: Withholding scholarships, fellowships, and other benefits.
- Examination Bar: Ineligibility to appear in internal or semester-end evaluations.
- Withholding Results: Results of examinations may be withheld.
- Representation Prohibition: Banned from representing the college in any events, whether national or international.
- Hostel Suspension: Suspension or expulsion from the college hostel.
- Rustication: Temporary removal from the college for one to four semesters.
- Expulsion: Permanent expulsion from the college and barring from admission to other institutions.
- Monetary Fine: A fine of up to Rs. 25,000.
