At NDRK First Grade College, maintaining a secure and contented environment for all staff and students is paramount. In alignment with UGC guidelines, our College Grievance Redressal Committee addresses the concerns of both staff and students, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction in the academic setting. Established under the direct supervision of the Principal, the committee effectively handles grievances through a structured process.

Upon receipt, grievances are directed to the Principal who forwards them to the appropriate committee members. Each issue is evaluated based on its severity, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.

Functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee:

  • Receipt of Grievances: Accepting written complaints related to administrative systems from both students and staff.
  • Mechanism Implementation: Developing procedures to address and resolve grievances.
  • Evaluation and Action: Analyzing grievances for authenticity and severity and forwarding significant issues to management.
  • Direct Representation: Presenting specific grievances to relevant departments such as maintenance, transport, academics, and amenities.
  • Regular Meetings and Follow-ups: Conducting periodic assessments to ensure all grievances are addressed and revisiting unresolved issues until final resolution.
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining discretion and confidentiality as required to protect the identities and details of the involved parties.
